Candy AI vs Character.AI: messaging, calls and policies
A character profile can look familiar across products while its account conditions differ. Start with text access and the type of lawful interaction you want, then compare creation and audio.

Free messages are not the same offer
Character.AI describes free unlimited messaging, with paid options for premium chat styles and other benefits. Our ordinary free allowance is limited; Premium text messaging and token-priced media are distinct.
Compare the style or model you will actually use. A free basic conversation is not proof that every premium option has unlimited access.
Both services have creation and audio tools
Character.AI provides character creation, voices and supported calls. We provide our creator and supported audio and media actions with character and account conditions.
Try the actual controls before deciding that one service lacks a feature. Paying for an option and allowing microphone access are also different requirements.
Respect the policy difference
Candy AI is an adults-only service with defined content boundaries. Character.AI's published policy prohibits pornographic content. That difference should guide which service fits the intended activity, not attempts to bypass a rule.
For either product, an AI reply remains fictional. Use account settings for billing or privacy changes rather than asking a character to perform them.
Common questions
Does Character.AI have the same free-message limit as Candy AI?
No. Character.AI describes unlimited free messaging. Our ordinary free account allowance is limited, and paid media or premium options need separate checks.
Is voice calling available only on one of these services?
No. Both describe voice-related features, but the selected character, account conditions and available call controls differ.
Are the content policies interchangeable?
No. Character.AI prohibits pornographic content under its published policy. Our adult service also has its own defined restrictions; neither should be bypassed.
Is c.ai+ just another name for Candy AI Premium?
No. These are separate products and purchases. Compare the included styles, tools, charges and renewal terms on each account.
