A useful custom profile answers who the companion is and how they tend to speak. Leave the immediate event for the chat so the same character can work in more than one scene.

A practical order for the creator
- Choose an available visual style and adult appearance.
- Add an occupation, interests and a small set of compatible personality traits.
- Decide on the relationship and speaking style.
- Write a greeting that invites an answer instead of finishing the scene.
- Review the version, access conditions and final choices before confirming.
Test a trait through dialogue
If the character is curious, let the greeting ask about something specific. If the tone should be dry and understated, test a short reply rather than adding a dozen personality labels.
Adjust one meaningful element at a time. A new visual detail, a different relationship and an opposing personality all changed together make the outcome harder to evaluate.
V1 and V2 are not interchangeable editors
The current V2 creator has its own fields and options. An older screenshot may show controls that have since changed.
New V1 creation is no longer provided, and a V1-to-V2 upgrade cannot be reversed. Read the version confirmation before converting a character you want to preserve.

Can every character field be changed back later?
Check the editing options for your character version. In particular, converting V1 to V2 is permanent and cannot be undone through the creator.
Can a V2 character be downgraded to V1?
No. The upgrade is permanent, and the creator no longer offers new V1 characters.
Should the companion biography include my own private details?
No. Put your fictional role in the user persona or conversation. The AI character's profile describes the companion, not a record of your real identity.
